Next Steps

Here at Thrive Church, we are always talking about "Next Steps." This spiritual journey we are on is all about what is Next and being willing to take that next step in knowing Christ and becoming more and more like Him. 

Here are a few steps we think are critical and more information to help you decide what is next for you personally!

Salvation

The first step is knowing Jesus Christ personally. If you are not sure you are saved or that heaven is your secured destination then we would be happy to share with you God's plan for salvation for your life and provide a "Start to Follow" bag that includes a bible as well as a book by Greg Laurie that will help you understand what it means to walk with Jesus everyday. Jesus loves you and so do we! 

John 3:16-17

Baptism - "Raised to Life"

The bible clearly teaches that baptism is the next step after giving your life to Jesus. Baptism is your chance to stand up and tell the world about your personal commitment to follow Jesus. 

Baptism isn't what saves you, but it is an outward symbol of your inner commitment to follow Christ. In a way, baptism is a lot like a wedding ring. The ring does not make you married, but it is a symbol of your life and devotion to your spouse, and that your life is being lived for someone else. 

We offer baptism services throughout the year. If you are interested in being baptized, sign up on our church center app. 

The Bible defines baptism as a sign of identification (Acts 8:36-38); symbolic of death and resurrection (Romans 6:4-5); representative of a cleansing (1 Peter 3:1); and an important step of obedience in scripture (Matthew 28:19-20 and 1 John 2:3.)  

Life Groups

We believe that "DOING LIFE TOGETHER IS BETTER." We believe that it is as biblical as anything else that we do. Gathering together in Faith and Relationship was critical to the early church and is still incredibly important today if not more so. (Hebrews 10:25) Go to our life groups page to see when and where our Life Groups are meeting and who to contact so you can connect to a life group today!

Discover Thrive

Discover Thrive is our one day class designed to help you connect to Thrive Church in a deeper and more meaningful way. This is a 90 minute class and includes an opportunity to become a member of Thrive Church and join a ministry team. You can go to our Discover Thrive page to learn more information.
